FLOP is a three-dimensional sculpture design rendered here in eight views. The nature of the work is based in my ongoing pursuit, education and expression of nature and behavior. The work’s past is directly recognized in the 2004-5 installation “Reproduction, Stress and The Death Drive : Go With the Flow.” The transformation of the work is the rise, arch and fall of the nude male figure with his arm swinging out as if from centrifugal force as his body arches and falls. The proportions are fixed by the ‘golden triangle’ yet the dimensions are variable to enlargement.
